Female Musicians – Mama Bears Top 25

When I was about 9 years old I heard Bonnie Tyler singing It’s a Heartache on the the radio. I am sure I had no idea at the time what the song was about nor did I probably care, it sounded good and her voice was just amazing. Since that time I have been following many female musicians.

I didn’t realize how many female musicians, I actually like and listen too, until I decided to write this post. I began by making a list. That was the easy part, until I had well over 50 names. What is a girl to do when she has to narrow down the list to my top 25.

Saturday, after creating my list, I sat down and began listening songs on YouTube, from the musicians on my list. I know my husband doesn’t always like my taste in music, so I knew I would have to throw a few in he would like and probably not female. I listened to many different songs, added to my playlist and began.

it was a hard list to write but I choose the singer for a song that had meaning. Tomorrow depending on how I am feeling, the list could have a few changes.

Great list of female vocalists, and great playlist of songs! We do like a lot of the same female artists. I love Adele’s Skyfall, Fleetwood Mac’s/Stevie Nicks Lies, Heart What About Love? & Holding Out for a Hero, Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart, and so many more. When I was young I was also crazy for Madonna’s Like a Virgin, but not so much now 😉
