7 Flower Gardens Around Toronto to Visit

We have finally had a few days of nice weather and we would like spend as much time outdoors as possible after being cooped up all winter. We are starting to make plans for adventures around the city. These Toronto flower gardens, just happen to be on our list.

7 Flower Gardens Around Toronto

 

Allan Gardens

A Botanical garden filled with exotic plants and seasonal flowers, located downtown Toronto and is open 10 am – 5 pm, 365 days/year, free admission and wheel chair accessible

James Gardens

Take a walk near the Humber River and you will see a beautiful spot with a few ponds and pathways and small bridges leading to an assortment of wildlife, flower’s and plants.

Edwards Gardens 

Full of history, flowers, ponds and bridges, located in the Bridle Path in Toronto, and can be visited all year long to capture the beauty of each season. Be sure to visit the Toronto Botanical Gardens, which is located within Edwards Gardens
Toronto Music Garden

Take a walk along whimsical paths into the garden of music and enjoy the view of the Lake Ontario, located in the Queens Quay and open all year round and is wheel chair accessible.

Centennial Park Conservatory

A variety of different plants and seasonal displays, located in Etobicoke and is open 10 am – 5 pm, 365 days/year, free admission and wheel chair accessible.

Cloud Gardens Conservatory

Experience a Tropical rainforest and a waterfall,  located in the Bay/Adelaide Centre in downtown, Toronto and can be visited 10 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, free admission and wheel chair accessible.

High Park

A large park with a hillside garden, a zoo, a park fo the kids and a place to picnic and swim in the summer, located near Bloor West Village and is open all year long to visit.

I have only visited 4 of these gardens so far, however, this spring and summer, we will hopefully have visited them all. You never know what you might see.
