What better way to spend a cold January night then with family and friends watching some larger than life beasts, at the Maple Leaf Monster Jam time. My family and I, along with Common Cents Mom headed down to the Roger’s Centre on January 16, 2016, for the Monster Jam Toronto Show. We had the perfect seats, right in the centre of it all.
I knew it would be a loud show so I made sure to have headphones for my daughter when the show started. We all had them, but I didn’t wear mine, my ears could handle the noise.
The race began with the sounds and sights of fireworks. I think I may have jumped a little.
Monster Jam 2016 Trucks
- Northern Nightmare (Canadian)
- Grave Digger (my fav and hubby’s, as well as many others attending)
- Scooby Doo (Common Cents Mom’s fave)
- Son-uva Digger
- Black Stallion
- Hurricane Force;
- Wrecking Crew;
- Bounty Hunter
- Zombie
- Monster Mutt Rottweiler
- Dragon
- Storm Damage
- Higher Education (my daughter’s fave, she has this thing for buses)
- Rage
- Alien Invasion, BRAND NEW truck in its first North American Monster Jam debut.
While all races and trucks did an amazing job racing, competing in the Freestyle show, and doing donuts, they all can’t be winners.
Championship Race – Grave Digger
Freestyle – Son-uva- Digger

It was a fabulous night of family entertainment. It’s great for kids of all ages. My daughter had a blast, but didn’t like the headphones. She even managed a short nap before the end of the show.
If you have never been to a Monster Jam show, I highly recommend going when they are in your town or a town close by. We can’t wait for the next show.
