Crock Pot Sweet and Zesty Pork Tenderloin

Crock pots are a great way to save time in the kitchen. A meal that cooks itself, well except for a few minutes it takes for us to prepare it.

When you have a picky eater, you try to make meals you know they will eat.  When I picked up the package of Pork Tenderloin I knew she would eat it and that is when I came up with the Sweet and Zesty Pork Tenderloin.

I rarely use my crock pot, it is old

I gathered all the ingredients I would be using to create my Sweet and Zesty Pork Tenderloin and began creating our delicious meal for the evening.

 

Sweet and Zesty Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

Rub Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Pork Tenderloin package of 2
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sage
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic 1 clove chopped

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Corn starch
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce

Instructions

Preparing Meat/Rub

  1. Add 1/2 cup of water to crock pot Mix the ingredients for rub in a bowl, then rub onto pork, place meat in crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours.

Glaze

  1. Add the ingredients for the glaze in a pot and heat over medium heat until it thickens. Brush on meat once out of crock pot. Broil on high for 3-5 minutes until glaze has caramelized. Cut and serve over rice or noodles . Use left over sauce for dipping.
