9 Manners Every Kid Should Be Using

We should begin teaching our children at an early age proper etiquette and manners. The 9 manners every kid should be using, is a shortened list of many more. They aren’t just for kids, but adults too. We lead by examples and should be setting the proper ones.

What are Manners?

A way of acting; bearing or behavior
The socially correct way of acting; etiquette ( the rules indicating the proper and polite way to behave)
The prevailing customs, social conduct, and norms of a specific society

Since my child was small, we have been teaching her manners, teaching her the difference between right and wrong. When asking for an item she says please and thank you. She doesn’t like her feelings her, so she won’t.

We all have been around, or know someone who wants to be in the spotlight, loud, maybe a bit demanding. These are those people who have no manners, no social grace. No please, no thank you’s!

Do you know an adult who annoys you, is rude and is just lacking manners? This is what could become of a child if they are not taught at early on, they could become that dreaded friend or acquaintance.

When out and about, you may run into many individuals, children and adults who so lack manners. A door closes in your face, kids are running around the stores bumping into you or other items then look at you like it is your fault they bumped you.

I have to admit I do occasionally forget but my child never does.

Think before you speak, it is all just common sense. Manners matter. Remember the old saying, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
