Ingredients

butter
shortening can be used

milk

sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Cut in butter or shortening until dough is coarse. Add in milk until a ball of dough forms
Roll dough on lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut tea biscuits with a round cookie cutter or a drinking glass and bake for 12 minutes until golden brown.
