Where do you go and what do you do when you find yourself without your children for the day or night? For my husband and myself, we don’t usually have date nights, it is usually family time. Occasionally our daughter is out for the day or overnight for a sleepover, the perfect opportunities for us to go out. We wanted to find fun places to go that wouldn’t break the bank or my back.

When we think about going out for a date usually the first few ideas are dinner, movies or drinks at a club. Dates don’t have to be those things, they can be anything you want them to be.

Spending time with your loved one on a day or night out doesn’t have to include a noisy bar or a busy restaurant. The places listed give you a quieter time to get to know each other or reconnect on new levels. Most of these ideas shared can also be done with your family if you decide to bring the kids along.
No matter where you go for your date, there will be plenty of cafes and out of the way restaurants to grab a quick bite to eat. I will be creating a list of out of the way places to eat in the near future.
