On February 19, 2018, we celebrate Family Day in Ontario. (it may be different in your province). Family Day was originally created to give people time to spend with their families. It also provides a day off between New Years Day and Good Friday as they are approximately three months apart. In Toronto, there are many free Family Day weekend activities.

We will be packing up some snacks and picking up a TTC family bus pass over the weekend. This will give us a chance to visit more than one event on Family Day. We will be starting at the Distillery District and making our way to Ontario Place to finish off our day.
If you planning on heading out for the day, bring snacks and something warm to drink. Make sure to bring extra mittens and hats to keep the kids warm and dry.
If you don’t want to be in a crowd, head to a park and have some fun in the snow before winter is gone for the season.
Enjoy your weekend with family.
