Roku Express Review and Black Friday Deals

*Disclosure* Mama Bears Haven received the Roku Express in order to do this review No other compensation was provided. All opinions are our own as always.

We spend quite a few hours a week watching movies and shows on TV. We haven’t had cable in quite a few years. Who needs cable when there are so many other ways to watch your favourite programs.

Over the past few years, we have been using another streaming device but had been thinking of changing to something different since we started having streaming issues. The timing of receiving the Roku came at the perfect time and we are quite happy with the decision.

Roku Express

The Roku Express comes with a handy remote is easy to set up and install. With some pre-selected channels like Netflix, YouTube and of course the Roku channel, you are on your way to a good start of streaming some of your favourite shows.

If you are a gamer, Roku has quite the selection of free and paid games to choose from to make family time more fun.

Need a bigger screen to see what you are doing? The Roku Express has screen-mirroring, so anything that is on your computer can be viewed on your TV screen.  All you need to do is change the display settings on your PC to capture your Roku device.

Okay I need to know more about this. I have been wanting a ROKU for a long time. We have the same issues with streaming here. It is so annoying. Our Netflix stops and gets stuck all the time. We really need a different system. This could be it.

Paula, This is a great streaming device. I love that I can mirror my computer to the TV and there are no issues. When I used Chromecast as soon as I moved my mouse or did something else the sound would go and the picture would freeze and lag. Roku is similar to a smart TV where you just download the apps that are free to use. I stream from the TV networks online and have no issues with needing extra channels or apps. Just mirror to my TV and all is good. I definitely recommend Roku, you will be happy.
