This year I visited the CNE twice. The first visit was with my husband and daughter as a birthday fun day. My second visit was with friends, a girls day out. Here are my favourite moments, my CNE Highlights. Before the CNE  was even open, we had purchased play all day passes. It would make for a less expensive visit. Family Tradition – Canadian National Exhibition

Visiting the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) has been a family tradition since I was a little girl and continues today. It has been a tradition for many Canadians since it began in 1879 as The Toronto Industrial Exhibition and is now also known as The Ex. The CNE is open for 18 days beginning August 19 and runs until September 5, 2016. Each year along the Harbourfront of Lake Ontario in Toronto, the Redpath Waterfront Festival happens. On Saturday we hopped on the subway and headed down to Union Station to catch the streetcar that would take us to Queens Quay to start our adventures at the festival.
