Little House on The Prairie is based on the memoirs of Laura Ingalls Wilder, edited by her daughter Rose and published around 1932, producing 8 books in the series and a TV series from 1974-1982 airing on NBC. Casting Changes -That’s Show Biz!

Casting Changes

We all have our favourite shows to watch and each week we enjoy seeing the same actor portray a character throughout the series. I find that most casting changes are usually done on daytime TV on a Soap Operas, where they go from one soap to the next and sometimes returning to a previous soap as a new character. Probably the most confusing changes. One day you are watching someone on General Hospital and the next day they are on The Young and The Restless.

At the start of the 1980s, I was 11 and 20 when they ended. We had just moved from a small town to the big city of Toronto.
