The Hollywood Walk of Fame runs 1.3 miles (2.1 km) east to west on Hollywood Boulevard. When visiting California, it was on my list of things to do while there. It is probably one of the most visited attractions. Remember though, it is a long hot walk so you will want to bring water and most of all sunscreen. In March of 1955, my father hopped on the Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth ship and traveled to New York from Scotland to join his sister in Toronto. I never met his parents, my grandparents, they passed away long before I was born.
