Indoor Lifestyle – Royal Canin #WhatsYourPetsLifestyle
What’s your pets lifestyle? Is your dog and Indoor or outdoor pet? The lifestyle I live, determines the lifestyle my dog lives. I spend most of my time indoors during the winter and in the warmer weather, I am outside. My dog spends most of her time indoors, she likes to nap, or stays home when we are gone for the day, which means my dog has an Indoor Lifestyle. She goes outside a few times a day to go the bathroom or occasionally I bring her for a walk … Continue reading
Appendicitis
When you experience an upset stomach with vomiting, we usually associate it with a stomach ailment like the flu or food poisoning, we tend to just take the normal measures. When it is associated with severe pain and fever, we need to look at it differently. My husband had many different symptoms but appendicitis wasn’t the first thought, the homemade bread was. On Monday, I decided to make homemade bread to go with dinner. My hubby wasn’t feeling tired so he was in the bedroom trying to get some sleep. … Continue reading
Parenting Styles
As parents, we each have our own Parenting Style, no ones way is right and no ones way is wrong. We choose to raise our child in our own manners. Parenting styles are the portrayals of how parents respond and answer to their children. We all want our children to be well behaved and liked in society. The way we react or don’t react, affects the behaviour of our children. How does your child react to your style of parenting?
Apartment Living
Apartment Living has its ups and downs and I’m not talking elevators. If you have ever lived in or are currently living in an apartment, some of what I have to say may sound familiar. Living in an apartment, there are all sorts of issues you have to deal with, good and bad. We have been living in our apartment for just under a year. We don’t normally complain about things. There are times when you need to. From the time we moved in the buzzer to let people in … Continue reading
Learning About My Ancestry
In March of 1955, my father hopped on the Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth ship and traveled to New York from Scotland to join his sister in Toronto. I never met his parents, my grandparents, they passed away long before I was born. Learning about my ancestry brings me closer to people I have never met or I have only seen a few times during my life. My father was the second youngest of 14 brothers and sisters. I remember when I was young he would talk about his family … Continue reading
1970’s TV Show Flashback
1970’s TV Show flashback! If you grew up in the 70’s, you may remember these shows, if you didn’t grow up then, you still may know the shows. Some I actually watched in the 70’s and others I caught later on when they re-ran the shows. These days you can find almost any old or new TV show online. When you can’t find anything to watch, why not find an oldie that you use to watch as a kid and watch the memories come flooding back. Share our favourite 1970’s … Continue reading
Recycling at Home and Around Your City
We all want to have a healthy and clean environment for our kids to grow up in. I know there was a time when most of us used one bag to put everything in, but times change and since these changes are for the better, we should adapt to these changes. In order for that to happen we all need to do our part. With all the litter and recyclables I see thrown all over the street, next to a bin. It makes me wonder how many people really do … Continue reading
Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Lotion Cleanser Review
I am not really a big make up person. I do occasionally put on a new face. I wear the basics, foundation, eye shadow and lip gloss. I haven’t worn mascara in years. I don’t like the way it feels on my lashes and is sometimes hard to remove. After recovering from the flu, I wanted to make myself feel and look better, so I got out my make up and did my face up over the past week to test out the Garnier Clean+ Make Up Removing Lotion Cleanser.
Why Are Those Shows Grey and White?
Why are those shows grey and white? That is the question we get asked from our 4 year old when we put on one of our favourite “old” shows. You know the ones I mean, the ones we watched before their was colour on TV. If the picture was unclear, we just got up and moved the rabbit ears around. You remember those times, right? It’s not just me that’s old!?!
